Shoutout to the 'anonymous' health app that sold my period data, took me 8 months to get it scrubbed

Found out a fertility tracker I used in Denver was sharing my cycle info with data brokers. Had to file formal complaints with three different agencies before they finally deleted it all.

Wait, is that really out of the ordinary? I used to be the same way honestly, thought two months was pushing it but after seeing how some people navigate these things I totally get the longer wait. It changed my perspective when a buddy of mine did nine months and his situation came out way smoother than anyone expected. What do you think makes a timeline like that work for some people but not others?
