Our promotion AI thinks my cat deserves a senior role
At my job, an AI tool reviews work data to suggest employees for promotions. It pulled info from a shared document where I had used my cat's name as a test entry. Now, I got an email saying 'Whiskers' is a top candidate for a management spot. It's a silly example of how bad data can lead to pretty odd ethical questions about these systems.

Oh man, that is the whole job description right there. My friend's cat manages her home office with the same two moves. He'll just plop down on the keyboard right as she's trying to send an email. Then he gives that slow blink stare if you dare to move him, like you're the one interrupting very important work. It's a leadership style built entirely on causing problems and then looking disappointed in you for noticing.

Did it at least check Whiskers' references? My cats have "managed" my house for years, and let me tell you, the policy on treat distribution is totally corrupt (they sleep on the job, too).
