My company in Seattle just rolled out a new hiring algorithm.

We used to have a team review every resume. Now the AI scores them first and only the top 30% get seen by a person. It launched last month. I'm worried it's filtering out good people with non-traditional career paths. Has anyone else had to implement something like this?

Our old system flagged a great candidate's resume as spam for using the word "synergy.

Right, but synergy is just a word, flagging it seems extreme.

Remember the issue @thea857 mentioned with the word "synergy". What specific words or phrases is your new system programmed to penalize or reward, and who decided on those rules?
