Just changed my mind about AI writing my kid's homework help

I always thought those AI tutors were a scam, but my son used one for a week and his math grade jumped. The thing that got me was seeing it explain a problem three different ways until he got it, something I don't have the patience for after a 10-hour day. Has anyone else had a good experience with these, or is the data privacy risk too big?

Read an article about how these AI tutors adapt to different learning styles. Maybe that's the real win here.

Honestly I'm just jealous the AI has more patience than I do. My kid asked me about fractions once and I almost offered to just pay his future accountant instead. If it gets the homework done without me having to relearn common denominators, I say let the robots win this round.

Spot the same thing with my own family. My dad used to help me fix everything, now he just googles a tutorial video. @sandrat24 is right, we're farming out the annoying mental tasks. Letting GPS handle directions, apps split the dinner bill. It's not just homework. We're all quietly outsourcing the stuff that makes our brains hurt.
