Vent: That morning in San Jose when the ABM dashboard broke before the QBR
I was at a client site in San Jose back in 2019. Hour before the quarterly review with their CMO and the whole ABM platform froze. Couldn't pull a single account score. Had to walk them through results from memory and a printed CSV. After that I stopped trusting the automation alone and started keeping manual tracking sheets for our top 30 accounts. Anyone else have a tech failure that made you change your process?

Oh man, "normal spreadsheet crisis" - that's like calling a dumpster fire a "minor warmth event"! I mean sure, a CSV printout saved me that day but let me tell you, trying to remember which account clicked on which whitepaper while sweating through your shirt is NOT what I'd call spreadsheet normal. It was more like a game of "trust me bro, the data was there" meets improv comedy. Honestly, you ever try to explain why a sudden 57-point drop in engagement score was actually good news because we'd cleaned the list? That's not a spreadsheet crisis, that's a full-blown theater production with no script.
