Had a chat with our VP of sales yesterday that threw me for a loop

He said our demand gen is too focused on leads and not enough on actual revenue influence, and that hit me hard because I've been bragging about MQL numbers all quarter lol. Has anyone else had a sales leader completely change how you measure campaign success?
