Found an old stat that stopped me cold

I was digging through some Gartner reports from 2019 and found out that back then, only 5% of B2B buyers actually trusted vendor content during their research. That number is just barely higher now according to the 2024 version I checked last week. Has anyone else noticed buyer trust dropping in their own campaigns?

Isnt it funny how that 5% number lines up with something my buddy noticed last week? He tried selling his old truck on Facebook marketplace and every single person who messaged him asked if it had a "rebuilt title" like they assumed he was hiding something. Feels like the same distrust just scaled up. Buyers in general seem to assume everything is a trap now whether its a B2B whitepaper or a used car listing.

Can't believe it's still that low... feels like buyers trust nothing anymore.

Keller Williams did a study last month showing that homes sitting over 60 days are getting 8% less than ones listed under 30 days, even in the same neighborhood. @willow_morgan, that trust issue might actually be a side effect of buyers watching too many "everything is a flip" YouTube channels and thinking every house has hidden mold or foundation problems. When was the last time you saw a listing actually get a pre-inspection done before putting it up?
