Ran into an older Kone firmware bug that kept dropping the car at floor 3
Spent 4 hours troubleshooting a Kone MonoSpace 3000 that kept parking at the lobby every time it hit floor 3. Turned out the door zone board had a firmware version from 2015 that didn't play nice with the new controller. Anyone else run into weird firmware conflicts on older Kone units?

Was that 2015 firmware a MX18 or MX19 version? I've seen both cause weird ghosting issues on the serial bus when paired with the newer LCE boards. The door zone board timing gets all jacked up and the controller thinks the door is still open when it isnt. Did you end up flashing the board directly or did you swap the whole thing out? I always keep a spare programmed board in the van for exactly this reason, because Kone's firmware compatibility has been a mess since they switched suppliers in 2014.
