Vent: Bought a $40 thermal camera attachment for my phone

Thought it would be a game changer for finding shorts and hot components. Used it twice on some old TVs, and the resolution was so bad I couldn't tell a hot cap from a warm trace. Now it just sits in my drawer. Anyone have a decent budget thermal tool they actually use?

My Instant Pot was a dust collector until I started using it just for hard boiled eggs.
