Question about a weird voltage drop on a 2010s receiver

I mean, this old Pioneer VSX-1020 I was fixing for a friend had this super faint hum and the left channel kept cutting out, idk, maybe it's just me but I thought it was a bad amp chip at first. After checking literally every solder joint on the main board, I found a tiny crack in a trace near the power supply section that was only visible under my loupe, and the whole thing took like 6 hours to finally pin down. Has anyone else had a problem that simple but took forever because the symptom pointed somewhere totally different?

My last repair like that had me replacing three capacitors before I found a single cold solder joint. I felt like a detective who arrested the wrong guy twice. It's always the thing you check last.

Ugh, classic case of the last place you look.

Honestly, I just reflowed all the solder joints first and that fixed it.
