I thought anti-static straps were overkill for phone repairs, but one dead chip proved me wrong.
Tbh, I started wearing the strap every time, and I haven't fried a board since.

Tell me about it... I learned that lesson with an expensive graphics card. That little strap is just cheap insurance now.
