Hit 1000 board repairs last week and it caught me off guard

I've been tracking my repairs in a notebook since 2021, and last Thursday I crossed 1000 boards fixed. That number hit me different because I still remember struggling through my first 10 on a busted Samsung TV in Detroit. Most of the work has been power supply caps and bad solder joints, nothing fancy. Has anyone else kept count and been surprised by the total?

Joke all you want but @the_joseph is probably the type to actually fix something if it broke, while I'm over here still trying to figure out how to patch a hole in my sock. I've got a pile of half-assed repairs in my garage that look like my 5 year old got hold of some duct tape and a dream. At least when I fix nothing, I don't break it worse than before, so there's that.
