I'm starting to think torque specs on breakers matter more than most guys admit

I found a study from UL that said over 25% of electrical failures in panels come from loose connections at the breaker. After I got a torque wrench and checked my own work from last year, I was surprised how many were under spec by 10-15 ft-lbs. Has anyone else actually gone back and checked their old terminations?

My own panel looks like it was wired by a guy whose torque spec was "just crank it till it feels right" and honestly, that guy was me last summer.

Used to think torque specs were optional until my breaker melted. You changed my mind.
