Went to that reno show at the Expo Centre and got burned on a window quote

I was at the Edmonton Home Renovation Show last Saturday and some booth guy quoted me $4,800 for three basic casement windows. Turns out he added a 20% “show special” fee that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the fine print. Has anyone else dealt with sketchy pricing from vendors at those trade shows?
