My taping knife trick was completely backwards for 5 years
Was working a ceiling job in Portland last winter and this old timer watched me for about 2 minutes before he laughed. He pointed out I was holding my 6 inch knife at the wrong angle the whole time, putting way too much mud on. I felt like an idiot but my corner work got way cleaner after that. Has anyone else had their whole technique flipped by a stranger on site?
