I finally had it out with a homeowner who insisted on watching over my shoulder
Last week in Austin, a guy followed me around for two hours pointing out every little dust speck while I was mudding a ceiling. He kept saying "my cousin could do this faster" and it took everything I had not to drop my hawk. Has anyone else dealt with a client who just won't let you work without micromanaging every coat?

Gotta ask - did you stop and call him out on the "my cousin" thing right then and there or just let it slide? In my experience that's the make or break moment with a client like that. If you don't shut it down early they'll keep pushing until you're ready to walk off the job. What was the final straw that made you have it out with him?

Ask @johnson.daniel if he's ever had a client that didn't push back. Feels like part of the gig.

Did @the_oscar get a similar runaround on his last gig too?
