Update: This permit review for a lake dredge has been sitting for eight weeks now

I mean, we finished the prep work ages ago, but the agency just keeps asking for more data. It's for a small community lake cleanup, and every week they add another thing to check. Idk, maybe it's just me, but the waiting is killing our whole schedule for the season. Has anyone else had a job stuck in review hell this long? I'm starting to think we should've pushed for a different start date from the get-go. What's the best move here, just keep calling or is there a trick to speed things up?

Nah, that's just too much time for a lake cleanup. Other towns handle it way faster without all the drama. Sounds like they're dragging it out to justify their jobs, lmao.

Respect your fair point. Lakes can have tough problems that take time to fix. Hurrying might just make things worse.
