The cutterhead on our 8-inch dredge looked brand new after we switched to a different pump setup

We've been running the same Ellicott 8-inch for about 4 years and the cutterhead was getting beat up bad, losing teeth every few months. Last spring we swapped from a standard pump to a higher flow one and the material started moving way smoother through the pipe. Anyone else seen big changes in cutter wear just from changing pump specs?
