That brand of cables I swore was junk saved my whole setup

I had a bunch of those cheap $15 umbilical cables from a no-name brand sitting in my truck for two years, never touched em cause I figured they'd fail in a week. Then my main cable snapped on a job by the river last Tuesday and I had to use one out of desperation, and it actually held up through 6 hours of muck and pressure with zero issues.

Always talked trash about those cheap cables until I grabbed one literally from the bottom of my trunk in a panic, now I don't feel so smug lmao.

Yo same here! I used to be that guy at Best Buy judging everyone for buying the store brand HDMI cables. Then my fancy one died right before a movie night with friends and I had to use this beat up one I found in my glovebox. That cheap thing has been working perfect for two years now and I still haven't replaced it. Feels kind of dumb dropping forty bucks on cables when the cheap ones do the exact same thing. My pride took a hit but my wallet is way happier now lol.
