Serious question, after pushing through a thick silt cloud today

I got through without stopping, but I'm puzzled what makes them form so fast.

Yeah like ericmason said, it's just crazy how things hang around way longer than you expect.

I read that it’s like a boat wake, just fine sediment getting kicked up and hanging there.

Same thing happens with boat wakes.
