Had a week where nothing went right with the cutterhead...

Was running a sand bypass job near Gulfport last Tuesday and the cutterhead kept clogging every 45 minutes. I finally called the old-timer from the yard and he told me to drop my swing speed by 30% and it cleared right up. Anyone else had to slow down way more than you thought to keep production moving?

Did a buddy of yours try that same trick over in Pascagoula?

That clogging problem is like trying to speed through life, you just jam up everything worse.

Wait, so is the drain fixed yet or is it still holding up traffic like a bad driver in the left lane? I swear, every time someone tries to rush through a simple fix it just turns into a bigger mess down the line. Reminds me of trying to cram a week's worth of laundry into one load because you're in a hurry, then wondering why your machine sounds like it's about to take flight. Patience really is the secret sauce here, even if it feels like you're going backwards for a bit.
