Warning: Don't buy that cheap drafting board off Amazon

I spent $60 on a folding board and the surface warped after three weeks. Has anyone else had luck with a decent budget option or did I just pick the wrong one?

Three weeks is brutal, was it one of those aluminum faced boards with a plastic core? I've been wondering if the humidity in my basement is gonna mess up a cheaper board or if I'm just overthinking it. Did you store it flat against a wall or was it leaning?

@simon_coleman Honestly man, you're probably WAY overthinking this. Unless your basement is like a literal swamp, a cheap board is gonna be fine leaning against a wall for a few months. I've had a $50 skateboard stored in my garage through a whole humid summer and it still feels fine. Three weeks of a board warping sounds more like a defective product than a storage issue to me.
