Walked into a drafting supply shop in Portland and saw zero actual drafting tables

I was in Portland last Tuesday for a small side job and stopped by a store that claims to be a drafting supply hub. Half the floor was taken up by 3D printers and gaming chairs, and the only actual drafting table they had was a beat up $200 model in the corner. How are we supposed to teach newbies the basics if even supply shops don't stock the real tools anymore? Has anyone else run into this shift of drafting stores turning into tech gadget showrooms?

Same thing with bookstores now carrying more vinyl records and candles.

@richard_dixon probably can't find a decent vinyl without a candle display now. Retail is so weird.

That $200 model in the corner - did it even have a parallel bar attached?
