Shoutout to a random thread that made me ditch my old drafting table setup

I found a comment on a forum last week that said most of us set our reference bar too low by like 2 inches. I always thought my neck pain was just part of the job, you know? Turns out I was hunched over for 8 years because I never checked the angle right. Has anyone else measured their setup since hearing something like that?

Night and day" feels a little dramatic over a desk tweak.

...and that one comment basically rewired my entire adult life. I had the same neck issues for years and just assumed it was from staring at screens too long. Never once thought the actual desk height was the problem. After I adjusted it, the difference was night and day. It still aches some days but not nearly as bad as before. Sometimes the smallest changes really do fix the biggest problems.

My friend fixed her back pain by switching to a standing desk mat. Wild.
