I finally switched from paper to digital markups and I'm kicking myself
For like 6 years I printed out every single set of drawings and marked them up with red pen. Thought I was being thorough. Then last month I had to redo a whole section because I lost a page on site. My partner made me try Bluebeam on his laptop and honestly it took me about 3 hours to get the hang of it. Now I can send corrections instantly without digging through my truck. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize you were making extra work for yourself?

Took me a full afternoon to stop instinctively reaching for a red pen after switching. Now I can't believe I used to drive 45 minutes just to hand someone a marked up page. Digital markups save way more time than most people realize until they actually try it for a week.

Used to think paper was faster because I could scribble notes while reading. Then I spent a whole afternoon trying to sync feedback from two different sets of handwritten notes and realized I was wasting half my day just organizing my own thoughts. Switched to a simple PDF tool and now I can add comments and changes in seconds without having to mail or drive anything. Really changed how I think about editing.
