Found an old drafting board at a garage sale - here's what I learned from it

I picked up a vintage drafting board from an estate sale last Saturday for 20 bucks, and the guy who owned it had this perfect edge-to-edge technique I never thought about. He used a simple steel rule without any sticky tape, just a steady hand and the right angle for every line. Has anyone else gone back to basic manual drafting tools after getting sick of software glitches?

Isn't it funny how we all circle back to simpler tools when the fancy ones just get in the way? Feels like every year something digital breaks enough to remind you a pencil never crashes.

Man, that brings back memories! I ditched my CAD software last year after a crash wiped hours of work, now I'm back to using a T-square and mechanical pencils for my rough sketches.
