Best week I had in years was last August
I was working on a set of blueprints for a small office remodel and every single measurement I pulled came out perfect on the first try. No red lines, no do-overs, just clean dimensions that matched the field conditions exactly. Has anyone else ever had a week where everything just clicked?

Did your friend frame that blueprint and hang it on the wall?

Yeah I've got a buddy who framed his first blueprint from a house he designed. He hung it in his home office right next to his drafting table. Honestly I think it's a solid move because blueprints tell a story about the process and all the problem solving that went into it. Just make sure you use UV protective glass if you're gonna hang it somewhere with sunlight, otherwise it'll yellow and fade pretty fast. Also go with a simple black frame so the drawing stays the focus, not the frame itself. It's a cool conversation starter too when people come over.

A framed blueprint sounds like a nice keepsake but I'd rather frame the photo of the job looking finished. Blueprints are just tools to get you there, you know? Could just be me though.
