Wasted $80 on a cheap tile saw, should've rented one from Home Depot in Fresno

Bought a budget tile saw online and it couldn't cut a straight line through 12x12 porcelain, burned out the motor after 20 tiles. The rental would've been $45 for the day and done the job clean. Anyone else learn the hard way that cheap tools are false savings on big projects?

Motor burned out after 20 tiles? That thing was built to fail, not to work. Twenty tiles is nothing, that's like a half day of cutting for most jobs. You basically paid $80 to learn a $45 lesson, which is rough but now you know for next time.
