One comment about my garage workbench changed my layout

I built a workbench in my garage back in March, 6 feet of pine on some old metal legs. My buddy came over and said, "You got the drill press way too close to the edge, you'll knock it off loading lumber." I shrugged it off, then two weeks later I bumped it with a 2x4 and that thing almost hit the concrete. So I shifted the whole bench 18 inches from the wall and put a lip on the front edge. Now I keep the heavy tools in the middle and it just feels safer every time I walk in there. Anyone else had a friend point out something obvious that took you a while to fix?

Wait till someone points out your drill bit storage. Mine used to be right under the bench where I'd always kick it, took me a month to just move it to the wall. Funny how a little nudge from a buddy changes everything.
