My rainwater barrel is ruining my patio

Built the stand from recycled pallets. Now it leaks and stains the concrete. So much for helping the environment.

Did you seal the pallets before building the stand? Untreated wood can soak up water and leak everywhere. Is the stain coming from the wood or the barrel itself?

Have you considered a drip tray like the one that worked for me?

That drip tray suggestion... it might help but doesn't fix the real problem if the wood's already soaked.
