I used to cut all my trim with a miter box and a hand saw, but after a big crown molding job in my dining room last fall, I switched to a compound miter saw.

My grandfather's miter box from 1957 still cuts perfect joints.

Come on, it's just crown molding. You act like it's brain surgery.
