My neighbor loaned me his old aluminum telescoping pole and a basic scoop attachment. That thing lasted for my whole street and I think it cost him like forty bucks.

My uncle has a fiberglass pole from the 90s he still uses for his gutters. That basic hardware store gear just does not quit. I borrowed it once and cleared my whole driveway in an hour. Fancy tools are nice but sometimes the simple stuff works the best.

@anthonymurray, my dad's old plastic gutter scoop from the 80s still cleans faster than any new gadget I've tried.
