Used to think caulk was caulk until I redid my parents' kitchen in Phoenix
Grabbed the cheap $2 stuff from the hardware store and it cracked within a month, then switched to a $10 siliconized acrylic that actually stuck after 3 tries, has anyone else noticed how much difference the price makes on that stuff?

The cheap stuff is a total scam. Learned that one the hard way too.

Man I bought a 20 dollar one from a gas station once and it literally fell apart in my hands before I even got home. @the_rose is totally right about that, those cheap brands are just asking for trouble. I spent more time trying to fix the thing than I did actually using it. Lesson learned though, now I just save up and get the real deal from a proper store.
