Tried cleaning my gutters with a leaf blower instead of by hand

I finally got tired of scooping wet leaf sludge out of my gutters every fall, so I grabbed my little handheld blower and gave it a shot. Worked way better than I expected for the dry stuff, but the wet clumps just sat there like cement. I ended up having to go back with a trowel for about half the run. Has anyone else had luck with those gutter cleaning attachments that look like curved PVC pipes?

Leaf blowers and gutters seem like an overcomplicated way to get wet leaves on your face.

Got a gutter cleaning attachment for my power washer and it changed the game for me. You gotta blast the leaves toward the downspout, not against the flow, and keep the nozzle moving so stuff doesn't pile up. It still clogs sometimes if the leaves are super wet and matted, but I just flip the hose sideways to push the gunk loose again. Saved me from climbing up there more than once a year and my shoulders don't ache near as bad. Pair it with a cheap leaf blower for the roof and you're done in half the time.

Is that curved PVC thing honestly worth the money though? I've seen guys wrestling with those attachments and they always end up with more frustration than when they started. The wet junk just cakes up in the pipe and then you're standing there trying to shake it loose while water drips on your head. Plus you still need a ladder to even use the thing, so what's really the point? I'd rather just scoop the ugly stuff once and be done instead of inventing a whole new way to make the same job take twice as long.
