The new smart thermostat set my AC on fire, sort of
Installed a $180 smart thermostat in my Atlanta duplex last Thursday and it shorted out the compressor relay, nearly fried my whole air handler. I fixed it by going back to the old $30 dial unit, why are we all pretending fancy tech makes home maintenance easier?
