Tried loading glasses sideways vs upright and one is way worse

Honestly I used to stack all my pint glasses upright in the top rack for years. Last week my roommate flipped them sideways and I was ready to fight until I saw how much cleaner they came out. The water actually hits the inside instead of just pooling at the bottom. Has anyone else made the switch or am I just late to this?

Dude same thing happened to me! I thought my roommate was crazy but now I flip all my glasses sideways. No more weird water spots at the bottom.

Dude the glass thing is just the tip of the iceberg! I started noticing all these little hacks after I moved in with my girlfriend. She folds her socks a certain way and now I can't go back. It's crazy how much small stuff we just do without thinking until someone shows us a better way.
