Silverware pointing up vs down - which side actually gets them cleaner?
I've always loaded forks with the prongs up so they catch more water spray, but my roommate insists prongs down keeps them from nesting together and blocking the jets, and after three cycles of getting food stuck in the tines I'm starting to wonder if I'm wrong - what do you all do?

Flipping them prongs down changed my life honestly, no more scraping weird stuff off the forks after the cycle. Plus if you stab your hand grabbing a handful of silverware it hurts way less.

Yeah @abbyg14 is right about the hand-stabbing thing, that's a real risk. But the real move nobody talks about is alternating every other fork direction so they cross-clean each other.
