Hot take: loading cups and bowls right side up is a rookie mistake

My dishwasher has three racks and I've tested this both ways for a year now. Bowls actually come out cleaner on their side or tilted because water pools in the bottom of a right side up bowl and leaves soap residue. Cups do fine upright if they're on the top rack where the spray arm hits them directly. But big mixing bowls? Those absolutely have to go on the bottom rack upside down or at a 45 degree angle. The real rookie move is putting tall glasses on the bottom rack where they block the spray arm from reaching the top.
