Forks down or forks up - I tested both for a month

My roommate swears forks up cleans better. Tried it for 2 weeks. Hand wash was needed half the time because stuff got stuck. Went back to forks down. Haven't had a single dirty fork since. Anyone else run this test?

Ha, I did the exact same test and landed on forks down too. It just makes more sense for the water to actually hit the dirt.

Forks up keeps the roots from getting washed away in heavy rain though.
