Warning: that $200 preset bundle ruined my art style for months

Back in March I bought this big digital painting preset pack from a popular seller, thinking it would speed up my workflow. Spent $200 and then spent 4 months relying on those brushes and color palettes, my own work started looking like everyone else's. Last week I finally deleted them all and redid a piece from scratch with default Procreate brushes, took me 2 hours but it felt like me again. Anyone else ever paid for shortcuts that just made your showcase stuff feel generic?

Tbh deleting that pack was probably the best move, I've been there too and it takes a while to find your own voice again after using someone else's tools. Good on you for catching it before it got worse.
