Vent: My tablet pen died 45 seconds into recording a timelapse of my digital painting

I was finally feeling it after weeks of art block, set up my screen recording to capture the whole process on my Huion. Got the first brush stroke down, went to blend, and bam - dead battery. No warning, no low battery popup. Just a sad blinking light. Spent the next 20 minutes hunting for a random AAAA battery at 11 PM. Found one in an old TV remote. Anyone else's gear pick the worst possible moment to fail?

Man, that's the universe's way of saying "you thought you were gonna be creative tonight? think again." Always happens right when you forget to check the battery first.

Oh man, that is brutal. It's like the gear knows exactly when to fail. I swear there's some kind of law of tech spite where your stuff works fine all day but the second you get in the zone it just gives up. Ross.kevin hit it right, the universe has a weird timing problem with creative stuff. I've noticed this pattern with everything too, not just art gear. Your car's check engine light waits until you're late for work, your phone dies right when you need the GPS, it's like everything runs on a schedule of inconvenience. Hope that AAAA battery holds out long enough for you to finish the piece.
