The night I watched a guy build a whole robot in MS Paint at a LAN party in Tulsa
Back in 2016 I went to a small LAN party in Tulsa and this dude spent 4 hours making pixel art in MS Paint while everyone else played Overwatch, and it completely flipped how I thought about digital art tools. Now I do most of my shading with a 3px hard brush and no stabilization, which sounds backwards but works for me. Anyone else here start out on free stuff like Paint or GIMP before moving to the fancy apps?
