Started keeping a color chart of every palette I try, total nerd move

I used to just eyeball colors and hope the mood came through, but after a client in Denver asked me to match a specific sunset photo three times, I made a spreadsheet with hex codes and notes on what each combo feels like. Now I check it before starting any piece. Does anyone else keep reference notes like this, or am I overthinking it?
