Rant: walked into a gallery in Austin that had 0 info on any artist or process

Saw like 40 digital prints on the wall with just titles and prices, no artist name or medium listed, how are people supposed to learn from or connect with the work if nobody even knows who made it or what tools they used?

Yeah that's totally frustrating, a gallery should at least tell you who made the work.

Ha, yeah no kidding. Last week I walked into a gallery and saw this cool painting of a raccoon in a suit, asked who the artist was, and they just shrugged and said "that one's a mystery." Like, great, now I'm gonna spend the next hour trying to figure out if I just saw the next Banksy or some guy's weird hobby. I'm pretty sure my own self-deprecating art would need a warning label: "Ryan H. made this, please lower your expectations." But seriously, how hard is it to slap a name on the wall?
