PSA: My digital art teacher in Phoenix told me to stop hiding my sketch layers, and 2 years later my portfolio finally got real engagement
She said the messy lines were the part people connect with, so I quit cleaning everything up before posting. My last timelapse showed all 47 layers of a piece and it got more comments than anything I spent weeks polishing. Anyone else find that showing the rough stuff lands better than the final render?

Wow, same here, my messy linework timelapses always get way more saves and comments than my clean stuff.
