My tablet pen died mid-commission in Portland, had to improvise with a stylus made from a potato
Was working on a client piece last Friday, about 2 hours in, and my stylus just stopped registering. I was at a coffee shop in SE Portland with like 6 layers left on the piece. Panicked for a solid minute, then remembered seeing some hack about using a damp sponge wrapped in foil. Did that, taped it to a chopstick, and honestly it worked okay for the rough shading. Finished the job, client never knew. Has anyone else had to MacGyver their setup when gear fails at the worst time?

The potato stylus thing sent me lmao. Honestly impressed it finished the job at all.
