My new drawing tablet just started randomly drawing its own squiggles during a client call.

Oh man, that's a nightmare scenario. Having tech act up during a client call is the worst kind of stress. I'd be worried about a hardware fault or a driver issue, not a quirky feature. That's a straight up problem that needs fixing before the next job.
