My friend told me to stop posting my art at 1080p, and I'm glad I listened.

She said 'you're selling your work short' after seeing my last piece on her 4K monitor, so I tried a 3000px export. Has anyone else had a similar wake-up call about resolution?

Feel the same pain looking at my old portfolio. My early stuff looks like a blurry mess on modern screens now. Guess we all learn the hard way when tech moves on, huh?

My first website was all 72 DPI JPGs from 2005. I mean, they look like abstract art on my monitor now. It's a specific kind of cringe, you know?

Honestly sandrac55, that 72 DPI thing is a total myth that just won't die. It was always about pixels, not inches on a screen. Tbh, your old JPGs are just low resolution, which is why they look so blocky now. We all got that wrong back then because the advice was everywhere. Ngl, it makes the cringe even more special knowing we were all following bad info.
