Bigger canvas sizes finally clicked for me after 3 tries

I used to paint everything on a 2000x2000 px canvas in Procreate and wondered why my pieces looked cramped. Last month I switched to 4000x3000 px and started using 600 dpi for print stuff, total game changer. The weird part is I was scared bigger canvases would slow down my iPad but it handles it fine. I also changed my brush sizes to match the new scale, took a day to get used to. Now my line work has way more breathing room and details actually show up. Anyone else fight canvas size for ages before realizing bigger was the fix?

I saw a tutorial once where they compared canvases side by side and the difference was insane, like the smaller one just murders your brush strokes lol. Glad you finally got it to click, that's a real lightbulb moment for sure.
