Pro tip: That $80 injector puller set saved my bacon on a 6.0 Ford

Bought a cheap injector puller set off Amazon for $80 and it worked like a charm on a 2005 F-250 that had a stuck injector. Tried to use a slide hammer I borrowed from a buddy and just about wrecked the bore, so now I swear by that kit. Any of you guys used a specific brand that held up better?

Bet your ass it beats borrowing junk that nearly trashes the bore.

48,000 rounds through a borrowed Remington 700 that had a burr in the chamber so bad it ripped case heads off. I get your point, @parker_thomas, but "nearly trashes the bore" is a stretch. A rough chamber ruins brass and makes extraction a nightmare, but it usually doesn't scar the rifling unless there's a gas leak or something.

48,000 rounds and I'd still manage to lose the bolt in a snowbank with that rifle.
